Bunker Hill Community College offers 2-year associate's degrees in electrical, biomedical, and general engineering. Grauates of the biomedical are prepared for entry-level positions or transfer to a 4-year institution. The other two paths are designed for transferring to a 4-year institution. Franklin Cummings Tech
Trade school with a number of certificate and two-year degree opportunities directly connected to trade industries. Also offers a four year degree in Electrical Engineering. AACA Weatherforce - Weatherization Program
AACA Boston provides a free 2 week training on weatherization, teaching air sealing, insulation, ventilation, etc. Program graduates earn a training bonus and are guaranteed job placement. See here for requirements and application. First class starts Oct. 23 so fill out ASAP.
National Grid - Energy Infrastructure Academy
National Grid is running a 7 week program designed to train candidates from underrepresented communities for entry-level union positions w/ National Grid. Classes in Boston and Worcester, Mon-Fri, 9am-3:30pm. Applications for Winter cohort due by 12/8. See here for details and application.
